Prevent and Radicalisation
Date & Time:
The workshop is a basic introduction to the Government 'Prevent Strategy'. It covers issues such as, identifying vulnerabilities, normal social processes of 'belonging', terrorist ideologies including case studies from extreme right-wing and Al Qa’ida inspired groups.
The workshop is beneficial in that it explores how members of staff within frontline services have been able to successfully identify issues of concern and have sought help before a crime took place.
During the workshop, there will be an opportunity to discuss how these issues present a risk in your area.
This training lasts approximately one and a half hours with questions and answers.
Who Should Attend?
This course is suitable for all staff & volunteers who work with or support children, young people and families in Brent.
