Terms & Conditions

Thank you for signing up to the Brent Safeguarding Partnerships' multi-agency training and development programme. Please be aware of the following, including the protocol and etiquette.

Booking confirmation

Once we have processed your booking, you will receive a confirmation email. Please do not share your booking or book for someone else through your account..

Cancellations and Non-attendance

We can have high demand for places and non-attendance without advance notice means that we are unable to offer places to others, including those who may be on a waiting list. 'No shows' impact on other attendees and the trainer, such as with pre-assigned groupings.

Having booked on, please put the commitment in your diary and try to attend. If you really can not, please cancel your place as soon as you are aware of this.

Please do not share your online Teams or Zoom link, or invite them to an in-person training without them having booked.

Repeated non-attendance without cancellation will result in you being prevented from making further bookings with us. We hope we won't have to do this.

Training Cancellation

If for any reason we receive less bookings onto a course than make it viable, or for other reasons, we may be required to cancel the training. This is not usual, and you would be emailed.

Special Requirements

If you have any additional needs which you would like the Trainer to be aware of, please add these to your profile.

Please note that we do not provide refreshments at in-person training, so we do not require dietary requirements.

Protocol and Etiquette

You are responsible for planning your journey to an in-person training event. Please note the parking restrictions which exist at and around the Civic Centre - public transport is advised, and is numerous.

We appreciate you arriving a few minutes before the start time for in-person and online sessions, for registration and to say hello.

For online events, please have your camera on - this is more akin to in-person training and we find it enhances engagement. Please join in, ask, listen and discuss and behave in a professional manner, being mindful of the sensitive nature of the topics and discussions.

Participants arriving more than 20 minutes late cause disruption to the course and may not be admitted. If you can not remain for the duration, or need to step out/go offline, please let the Trainer know. The Trainer will decide if the time missed means that you are not deemed to have completed the training. We prefer it if everyone can stay, and this is the expectation.

Please complete the pre and post-evaluation forms - these are a requirement. On receipt of the latter, a Certificate of Attendance is released and you can log back on to download course materials. Two months on, a final evaluation is sent to you. This is to help us understand the impact, as well as being a reminder of the training and the core action you said you wanted to take. Please complete this too.
