Terms & Conditions

Booking confirmation

Once we have processed your booking, you will receive a confirmation email. Please do not share your booking - these are for you only.

Cancellations and Non Attendance

We have very high demand for places and non-attendance without advance notice means that we are unable to offer places to others.

We have a worrying number of 'no shows' at times. Having booked on, please try to attend - as I am sure you can appreciate, having said you are attending an event, it is good manners to go, or at least cancel.

You are able to cancel your own place before the course by logging onto the platform: Brent SCB/SAB - Learning Management System (brentsafeguardingpartnerships.uk)

Training Cancellation

If for any reason we receive less bookings onto a course than make it viable, or for otehr reasons, we may be required to cancel the training. This is not usual.

Special Requirements

Both boards will make every effort to accommodate any special requirements that have been notified in advance on the booking form. Please add these to your profile where they are relevent.

You are responsible for planning your journey to an in-person training event, and you are expected to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time for registration.

For online events, pleas have your camera on - this is more akin to in-person training and we find it enhances engagement. Please join in, ask, listen and discuss.

Participants arriving more than 20 minutes late cause disruption to the course and may not be admitted.

Please note that we do not offer refreshments or lunch on any of our free courses unless stated.

During the course, you are expected to participate fully, behave in a professional manner and be mindful of the sensitive nature of the topics and discussions.

All participants are expected to stay until the end of the course unless you have informed the trainer beforehand.

All participants must fully attend the course and complete the online evaluation form before a certificate of attendance can be accessed. Resources are also made available after the post-course evaluation has been completed.
